James S. Bain, M.B.A., President

Jim has a degree in Economics from Duke University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound. He has performed in an ownership and/or senior management role for a large independent insurance firm, a trade association, a retail business, and a construction firm.
He has served as the Executive Director for three not-for-profit associations, served on the national faculty for the Associated General Contractors of America, and has delivered presentations on a variety of business subjects for contractors and construction association groups around the country.
In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Bain has authored many articles on a wide variety of business subjects, which have been published in magazines such as Building Excellence, Rough Notes, Indiana Constructor and Indiana Public Magazine.

Merry Lee Bain, M.S., Vice President

Ms. Bain has degrees from Purdue University in both Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. As an engineer with more than 20 years of industry experience, she has played an integral role in the development of a wide variety of medical devices including combination products and long term implants. Prior to joining Falcon Advisors, she held executive positions in the Cook Group Companies, and worked with the FDA as an industry representative on a number of task forces for developing FDA guidelines and policies. She is also a partner in NDA Partners, a consulting firm and regulatory advisory service.
